Adelaide United Football Club 2016 Champions

What a remarkable year it was for Adelaide United Football Club in the Hyundai A-League! After eight games of the season without a win, the Reds managed to go on an amazing run to become Premiers at the end of the season. This culminated with a home Grand Final at Adelaide Oval in front of over 50,000 fans, in which the team became the A-League Champions by beating Western Sydney 3-1. It was spine-tingling to hear the roar of the fans when Pablo Sanchez secured the win with his goal just before the final whistle.

It has been a great relationship that Adelaide United Football Club has shared with Pro Health Care in providing medical services for the players over the past eight seasons. The team Physiotherapists, Peter Chitti and Harry Truong, as well as the team Remedial Therapist, John Smith, are all practitioners at Pro Health Care Kidman Park. They have been heavily involved in the day to day medical management of all of the squad. The players are assisted before, during and after trainings and matches with injury assessment, treatment, massage and taping. Screening assessments and rehabilitation sessions are performed to ensure prevention of injuries, and on-field rehabilitation and gym is provided to the injured players by our Physiotherapists to get them back onto the field in good condition. The Medical Staff has to be in constant communication with the Coaching Staff and High Performance Team to make sure that player health and load management is optimal. This is all vital in keeping all the players fit, healthy and playing well!

Pro Health Care congratulates Adelaide United Football Club and everyone involved for a Championship season that will always be remembered!
