Dr Grant Baker

Dr Grant Baker is an Adelaide GP consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with an interest in skin, musculoskeletal and sports medicine.

Dr Baker graduated from medical school at the University of Adelaide in 1993.

He undertook his intern year at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he also worked in the Emergency Department after undertaking some anaesthetics training in the United Kingdom. Dr Baker completed his Fellowship in General Practice in 1999.

He also has a Diploma in Obstetrics, a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Rural Skills (anaesthetics) and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education. He is a Clinical Lecturer with the Flinders University and Manager of Clinical Simulation for Sturt Fleurieu General Practice Education and Training. He is currently chair of the Riverland Division of General Practice and Board member of the Country South SA Medicare Local.

Dr Baker spent 15 years as a rural GP in the Riverland based in Barmera. Being a qualified tennis coach who has represented Australia at junior level he has always had an interest in Sports Medicine. He has a young family who are heavily involved in Basketball, Football and Tennis. When he is not busy running the children around he enjoys a hit of golf.

Dr Baker’s interests include Sports Medicine, Musculoskeletal Assessment and Injuries as well as minor procedures including skin lesion removals, in grown toenail surgery and skin cancer assessment.


Dr Alice Willson

Dr Alice Willson is an Adelaide GP consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with interests in paediatrics, women’s health, pregnancy and postnatal care.

Dr Willson completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of South Australia in 2005, before going on to study Medicine at Flinders University, graduating in 2011.

Dr Willson has worked in a number of hospitals across Adelaide, including the Women’s and Children’s Hospital where she gained valuable experience in Paediatrics as well as Obstetrics and Women’s Health.

Dr Willson has been working in general practice since 2015, in both rural and city locations and completed her Fellowship of the RACGP in early 2017. She has particular interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Pregnancy and Postnatal Care.

She has completed a Diploma in Child Health as well as a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Shine SA and is accredited to provide Antenatal Care in conjunction with the major public hospitals.


Dr Carmen Bruce

Dr Carmen Bruce is a GP in Adelaide consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with an interest in women’s health.

Dr Bruce graduated in 1980 from Birmingham University Medical School.

Following anaesthetics training in Birmingham, Dr Bruce completed her fellowship in General Practice in Oxford in 1988. She also completed a Diploma in Oxford in Obstetrics.

Dr Bruce moved from Oxford to Adelaide in 1988 and has worked at Kingswood Clinic since 1989, before it became Pro Health Care. Her main interests include Women’s Health and General Medicine.


Dr Wendy Feng

Dr Wendy Feng is an Adelaide trained GP consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with interests in women’s health and sexual health.

Dr Feng undertook her medical training at The University of Adelaide and graduated in 2015.

Dr Feng has worked in a number of Medical Centres and hospitals including, Aberfoyle Park Medical Centre, Reynella Medical Centre, Hackham Medical Centre, Repatriation General Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre. Dr Feng has hospital experience in ED, eating disorders, dermatology, infectious disease, gynaecology and obstetrics.

Dr Feng is particularly interested in Sexual Health, Women’s Health, Transgender and Gender Non-conforming Health. Wendy is accredited for obstetric shared care and does a range of minor procedures including; skin excisions, contraceptive devices insertion, ear microsuction and iron infusions.


Dr Brett Slarks

Dr Brett Slarks is an Adelaide trained GP consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with interests in sports medicine.

Dr Slarks graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2018 with an Adelaide Graduate Award.

Dr Slarks has worked in Adelaide’s most reputable major hospitals including the RAH, QEH and Women’s and Children’s Hospital, undertaking various placements that have included Respiratory Medicine, Neurosurgery, Geriatrics, Urology, Acute Medicine and Brain Injury Rehabilitation.

More recently, Dr Slarks has undertaken further training in Sexual Health and Advanced Life Support whilst maintaining a strong interest in Musculo-Skeletal and Sports Medicine.


Dr Linda Chen

Dr Linda Chen is an Adelaide trained GP consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with interests in women’s health/obstetrics and mental health.

Dr Chen undertook her medical training at The University of Adelaide.

Dr Chen has worked in a number of medical centres and hospitals including Flinders Medical Centre and Lyell McEwin. Dr Chen has also practiced as a General Practitioner around South Australia in Naracoorte, Moonta and Mt. Baker.

Dr Chen has a particular interest in women’s health and obstetrics including insertion of contraceptive devices. Dr Chen also has a particular interest in mental health and well being.

Outside of work, you can find Dr Chen spending time with her beloved Golden Retriever or practicing her digital art.


Dr Joshua Kartika

Dr Joshua Kartika is an Adelaide trained GP consulting from our Mitcham Medical Centre with interests in occupational medicine, environmental and wilderness medicine, and work injury management and work cover.

Dr Kartika graduated from The University of Adelaide and completed a Masters in Traumatology 2019, completed his Fellowship in General Practice in 2021 and is currently undertaking his Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health.

Dr Kartika has worked in a number of Medical Centres across Adelaide including, Flinders Medical Centre, Trinity Medical Centre, Ingle Farm Medical Centre, and Seaford Day and Night Clinic.

Payment Terms

Private Patients
We are not a bulk-billing medical practice and require full payment of consultation fees at the time of appointment. Our facilities allow Medicare rebates to be paid directly into your bank account within 24 hours in most instances.

Children and Concession Card Holders
Our medical clinic is pleased to offer bulk-billing to all children up to the age of 16 and for Pensioner Concession Card holders. Please ensure that you bring your concession card at the time of consultation and note that bulk-billing does not apply to other forms of concession cards such as the Commonwealth Seniors Card.
