Dr Pasquale Cocchiaro was a founding partner of Midwest Health and continues to be a partner in Pro Health Care Midwest. Dr Pasquale has served in numerous medical committees throughout his time in General Practice spanning over 30 years. Dr Pasquale enjoys  all areas of General Practice with special interests in aged care, mental health and procedural medicine including skin excisions.

Dr Peter enjoys all aspects of General Practice inclusing family medicine, whilst developing special interests that include Obstetric Shared Care, Mental Health, Drugs of Dependence, Allergy and Immunological conditions.

Dr Peter is a Medical educator for doctors specialising in General Practice and undertakes Registrar training programs at Pro Health Care Midwest.

Dr Roberto is experienced in all aspects of General Practice and has developed special interests in Chronic Disease Management.

Dr Kerrie enjoys the diversity of General Practice whilst maintaining a specialised skill-set and interest in Women’s Health.

Dr Luke joined the team at Pro Health Care Midwest in 2019, following completion of his Registrar training. Whilst maintaining an interested in all aspects of general practice, Dr Luke has developed special interests in child and family health, preventative healthcare, chronic disease management and neurological conditions.

Dr James has a long held passion in Musculoskeletal medicine which stems from his previous career as a Chiropractor. Dr James enjoys treating a wide range of musculo-skeletal conditions whilst also enjoying other aspects of medicine including Paediatrics and Chronic Disease Management.

Outside of medicine, James enjoys food, wine, music and bush walking and has even survived Kokoda!

Dr Serafim Dafillis has extensive work experience including: Modbury Hospital, RAH, FMC, TQEH, FPH, Ashford Hospital, St Andrews Hospital, Rockhampton Hospital, Canberra Calvary Hospital, Seacombe Medical Centre, Floreat Surgery, Belair Medical Centre, and Glenelg Medical Centre.

Dr Dafillis has an interest in all aspects of general practice, and in particular Adult medicine, cardiology, and endocrinology.

Outside of work, Dr Dafillis enjoys travelling, fishing, astronomy, board games, bike riding, sports, reading and listening to music.

Dr Maria Lena speaks both Italian and French and enjoys the life-long relationships that she has developed throughout her career in General Practice.

Dr Maria Lena is Interested in all aspects of general practice.

Dr Lars graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2015. During medical school he spent almost 1.5 years rural. During his junior medical years Dr Lars worked at the Lyell McEwin Hospital rotating through a a number of rotations, including Paediatrics, Emergency, Psychiatry, Surgical and General medical terms.

Dr Paschburg special interests include managing Chronic Conditions, Men’s Health, Lifestyle Medicine and have a keen interest in Patient Education and Empowerment.

In his spare time Dr Lars has a keen interest in Information Technology and Woodworking.

Dr Sofia was a solo General Practitioner for over 35 years before joining Pro Health Care Beverley where she has enjoyed working with a mixed cultural diversity of patients. Dr Sofia is extremely passionate about her Greek heritage and enjoys consulting to Greek speaking patients, whilst remaining active in the Greek Community. Dr Sofia has special interests in complex care needs including geriatrics.

Dr Anselm completed his studies at Deakin University in 2018.

Dr Anselm has undertaken clinical placements at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, St Agnes Medical Centre, Harmonie Medical Clinic.

Outside of medicine, Dr Anselm enjoys music, 3D printing and gaming.

Dr Tran graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2019 with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She has complete the Sydney Child Health Program (2019) in addition to training for implanon insertion. Dr Tran also holds a certificate of practical dermoscopy (Dermatology Australasia, 2023).

Dr Tran is  working towards completing her Certificate of Women’s Health and Graduate Diploma of Child Health (University of Western Sydney) this year.

Dr Lana is the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, she is fluent in English and Vietnamese, and hopes to advocate for and improve access to healthcare to migrants and refugees.

Dr Tran has worked in Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Over 2023 she worked in general practice in Clare Valley, with on-call work at Clare and Snowtown Hospitals.

Her career highlight includes presenting her research (in mental health) at a national conference in Hobart, Tasmania.

Dr Tran has a passion and focus on Paediatric and Women’s Health.

Outside of medicine, Dr Tran enjoys reading, watching movies, yoga and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Silvana attained her medical degree in Argentina and has worked extensively throughout South America and Europe where she completed a certificate in specialised training in Internal Medicine from Paris VI University.

Dr Silvana came to Australia in 2011 and has been working in various regional hospitals and medical centres through NSW and South Australia, before deciding to join our team at Pro Health Care in Beverley.

Dr Silvana loves the challenge of General Practice in dealing with all aspects of Chronic Disease Management, Geriatrics, Metabolic Health, Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Palliative Care and Skin Cancer Management.

Outside of work, Dr Silvana enjoys keeping fit and healthy and spending time with her young family.

Dr Natalia Bezrukova is an experienced General Practitioner with an extensive medical background spanning both international and Australian healthcare settings. She completed her medical degree, internship and clinical residency in the Russian Federation before achieving her PhD (Candidate of Sciences) in 2002. After moving to Australia, she continued to broaden her qualifications through further studies in nursing, child health, obstetrics shared care, acupuncture and skin cancer medicine, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and high‑quality patient care.

Natalia has a strong interest in women’s health, including contraception, IUD and Implanon services, and medical termination. She is also passionate about obstetrics shared care and children’s health, providing supportive and evidence‑based care for families. Her additional training in medical acupuncture and skin cancer medicine allows her to offer a holistic and comprehensive approach to patient wellbeing.

She performs a range of procedures, including IUD insertion, Implanon insertion and removal, and minor skin surgery. Natalia is multilingual and consults in English, Russian and Ukrainian, enabling her to support a diverse patient community with clarity and cultural understanding.

Dr Omar’s medical career has taken him across several countries, giving him extensive experience in emergency medicine, trauma care and general practice. He completed his medical training in Zimbabwe before moving to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for six years in a major Level 1 Trauma Centre and became Chief Resident of the Orthopaedics and Trauma Department. He later returned to Zimbabwe to lead an Accident and Emergency Department before taking on an Acting Consultant role in Muscat, Oman, where he was also involved in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

During his time overseas, Dr Omar completed a Master’s degree in Disaster Medicine through the University of Brussels and contributed to international conferences, clinical education programs and the development of a Poisons Control Centre. After relocating to Australia, he combined his emergency medicine expertise with general practice and went on to complete his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In 2018, he was appointed Senior Lecturer and Teaching Specialist at the College of Medicine at Flinders University, where he continues to enjoy mentoring and supervising future doctors.

Dr Omar consults in English, Urdu and Hindi, supporting patients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Dr Mohit Jain is a General Practitioner consulting in Beverley. He completed his medical degree at James Cook University in 2013, establishing a strong foundation for his career across diverse clinical settings.

Dr Wright qualified in medicine in 1971, and after spending some 15 years looking after the health of university students, he qualified as a consultant occupational physician in 1989.

He then went on to complete his Master of Public Health qualification in 1991, and was elected Fellow of The Faculty of Pain Medicine in 2008.

For more than almost 30 years, his practice has focused on the multidisciplinary treatment of chronic pain and disability in injured workers.

Working together with a multidisciplinary treatment team, Dr Wright confirms and organises the medical diagnosis, rationalises medication, chairs multidisciplinary meetings, coordinates multidisciplinary treatment programs and, with other members of the team, ensures that treatment is going as planned.

By way of letters and reports, Dr Wright explains to referring doctors, solicitors, and insurance companies, including ReturnToWorkSA, the nature of the problems and the reasons why certain treatments are recommended.

In addition to being involved in the multidisciplinary management of chronic pain, Dr Wright is available to give individual advice as an Occupational Physician or Specialist Pain Medicine Physician on a range of workplace issues.
