James graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Macquarie University (2002) and holds a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Adelaide (2004). He was the recipient of the Anna Florence Booth Prize (for the best psychology thesis in the Master’s Program at the University of Adelaide) and was awarded the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (SA) Prize (for the overall best psychology student completing the Clinical Psychology Master’s program at the University of Adelaide).

In his work, James uses various psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness to manage a range of psychological problems. He has experience in treating common psychological conditions including anxiety disorders (e.g. obsessive disorder, social anxiety and panic disorder), depression and he has an interest in assisting people with general well-being and work-life balance issues.

James is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Clinical College and the APS Psychology and Ageing Interest Group.

David truly believes that building rapport is one of the most fundamental parts of any therapeutic relationship. David works across a range of age groups from adolescent to late adulthood and emphasises client centred skills which also include relapse prevention. Above all, he is committed to providing a quality service that embraces client input.

Dedicated to providing high quality work, David’s therapeutic technique encompasses an eclectic approach from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. In addition, David has an interest in neurology and coming from a clinical rehabilitation background, is well versed in the complexities people may experience with chronic illness.

In his spare time David enjoys time with his diverse friendship group. In particular, he is keen on staying fit and enjoys travelling to faraway places and equally, sharing his experiences.
