Fitness Pilates in Adelaide at Pro Physio SA

What is Fitness Pilates?

Our Fitness Pilates classes are a low-impact, full-body, evidence-based exercise program designed to improve core strength, flexibility, posture and overall body awareness. It focuses on controlled movements, breathing techniques and stability, making it suitable for a wide range of individuals, including those recovering from injury or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Fitness Pilates can assist with back and neck pain, improve balance and coordination, and support general fitness and wellbeing. All Pilates programs are tailored to your requirements by our Pilates trained Adelaide physio near me.

How do I start?

To join our Fitness Pilates classes, a one-on-one consultation with one of our physiotherapists is required to assess any existing or previous injuries, discuss your general health and determine your specific goals for starting pilates. Within this assessment, we use outcome measures to determine your overall baseline, teach you the key principles of pilates and introduce you to the reformer. You will then be able to participate in our physiotherapy lead fitness pilates classes where exercises can be tailored to your individuals needs.
