**ON MATERNITY LEAVE FROM 23/9/19** Rebecca Gigney is an experienced physiotherapist in Stirling in the Adelaide Hills with an interest in Musculoskeletal, Sports and Women's Health Physiotherapy.
Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2002. She has been working in musculoskeletal and sports private practice since graduating and is highly experienced in musculoskeletal, spinal, orthopaedic/post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, dizziness, chronic pain, women’s health, aquatic physiotherapy, dry needling and pilates.
Rebecca has been involved in many sporting teams as senior physiotherapist in the SAAFL, State League netball and rugby, tennis and hockey. She has furthered her knowledge by working in London with physiotherapists for the Surrey Cricket Club and the team doctor for the Chelsea soccer club. Currently she is involved with the local Mount Lofty Football Club.
Rebecca has been involved in a multi-centre research project investigating the management of neck pain and has a strong interest in neck disorders and headaches. She is passionate about her work and provides a personalised assessment and treatment that is of high quality and backed by evidence based research.
When not at work, Rebecca loves spending time with her young family and their 3 dogs, renovating their house, travelling and balancing her indulgence in good food and wine with exercise.
