Jessica graduated with her Psychology degree from Flinders University in 2015.
Jessica has worked in a variety of fields, specialising in general mental health and paediatrics. Her primary focus has been supporting clients with autism spectrum disorder and complex mental health challenges. She has worked in the private and public sectors with clients of varying ages. She is well versed in various psychological approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, behaviour therapy and motivational interviewing. Common challenges that she has treated include, depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship difficulties, mood disorders, substance use and neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD). She has also worked with children and families providing support in behaviour management, emotional regulation, parenting and school-related issues.
Jessica approaches her work with clients in an understanding and empathetic manner. She aims to provide a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions and discuss challenges they may be experiencing. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with her clients and developing targeted strategies to help clients navigate life stressors and improve their general wellbeing.
Jessica has a particular interest in paediatrics and general mental health.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also likes being outdoors and exploring new places.
