Blood tests are a very useful diagnostic tool and may be ordered for a variety of reasons. Routine fasting blood tests may be ordered to check your physiological and biochemical state.
At Pro Medical SA, we have a Blood Collection Centre that is operated by Clinical Labs Pathology from 8am – 1pm from Monday to Friday. No appointments are required, although a referral from your doctor is necessary. Our practices have policies and procedures in place to ensure results are followed up, but we re-iterate that it is ultimately the responsibility of the patient to ensure timely follow-up of results with their doctor.
