Pro Health Care is pleased to report that we have recently invested in some of the most sophisticated Heine equipment for dermatology. The equipment allows our doctors to quickly and accurately photograph and store images of suspicious lesions for future comparison.
The ability to compare moles and other suspicious lesions over a period of time (usually 6-12 months) is important in detecting changes in colour, size or shape. This investment allows our doctors to confidently recommend excision of lesions where growth is detected, which may involve a referral to a specialist depending on the size and location of the lesion.
