Dr Margaret Prysak is a Clinical Psychologist who has an interest in the treatment of Affective/Anxiety disorders, Depression, Grief, Substance dependence, Trauma and Stress-related issues of adults, adolescents and primary aged children. Margaret uses various evidence-based therapy models, including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, including mindfulness practices. In addition, Margaret is also bilingual and happy to see Polish speaking clients.

Doreen provides a structured and evidence-based interventions for common mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and stress management; to a more complex mental health issues such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Complex PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, Behavioural Management; and mental health issues with co-morbid presentations (e.g., anxiety and depression with OCD).  She is also adept in Multicultural Psychology and Psychology of the Aging.  Her scope of practice extends from 10 years old through to elderly.

Doreen provides a holistic, client-centred and eclectic approach utilising different modalities of evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Cognitive Therapy (CT); Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT); Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to suit patient needs.

In addition, Doreen is also bilingual and able to conduct therapy in Tagalog.
