Dr Margaret Prysak is a Psychologist who has an interest in the treatment of Affective/Anxiety disorders, Depression, Grief, Substance dependence, Trauma and Stress-related issues of adults, adolescents and primary aged children. Margaret uses various evidence-based therapy models, including cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, including mindfulness practices. In addition, Margaret is also bilingual and happy to see Polish speaking clients.

Doreen completed her Undergraduate and Post-Graduate studies at Monash University and her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Adelaide University.

Doreen provides a holistic, client-centred and eclectic approach utilising different modalities of evidence-based treatment to suit patient needs.

Doreen’s areas of interest are mood disorders, grief, trauma and relationship issues, multi-cultural psychology and psychology of the ageing. Her scope of practice extends from adolescents right through to the elderly.

In addition, Doreen is also bilingual and able to conduct therapy in Tagalog.
