Pro Veterans Care is Adelaide’s very first dedicated clinic designed for veterans. The team at Pro Veterans Care is led by Dr Roland Oak who has been a soldier, general service officer, ADFHSC Contracted Medical Officer, National Senior Medical Officer for Defence Force Recruiting and General Practitioner.
Dr Oak brings over 20 years of ADF service with a strong appreciation of the tri-service environment and the subsequent occupational exposure Veterans have endured; and how, if possible, it can be linked to service through the underlying DVA SOPs and the guidelines articulated by the Repatriation Medical Authority. Dr Oak is passionate about veteran health and advocacy.

Pro Veterans Care is the only one stop shop for care and assessment for Veterans in Adelaide.
The clinic is led by a Veteran, and lived experience practitioner that understands Veterans, ADF Service and the difficulties veterans face in transition.
Pro Veterans Care can also provide comprehensive coordinated healthcare for Gold Card holders and White Card holders with accepted conditions or waiting for acceptance of liability through the Provisional Access to Medical Treatment (PAMT) via DVA.

No cost to Veterans and Serving Members:
There is no out-of-pocket cost for Diagnostic Assessments, Permanent Assessments and Incapacity assessments. Pro Veterans Care can help you throughout every stage of the process.
The Permanent Impairment process:

Reviews of your medical files and/or the claim for permanent impairment paperwork

Diagnosis and/or further investigation as necessary
- Assessment of conditions and if possible, to link the conditions to your military service

Submission of a comprehensive report with DVA paperwork for the determination of liability
Once liability has been accepted then Pro Veterans Care can assist in Permanent Impairment (PI) Assessment
