Dr Marco Gleeson

Dr Gleeson is an Adelaide trained General Practitioner with an interest in Paediatric Medicine and Sports / Musculoskeletal Medicine consulting from our Walkerville Terrace Family Practice.

Dr. Gleeson completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2005, before going on to study Medicine at Flinders University, graduating in 2011. He completed several years in Paediatric training throughout South Australia before beginning work in general practice.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Gleeson enjoys cycling, tennis, and spending as much time with his young family as possible.

Dr. Gleeson has a keen interest in Paediatrics, Young adults, Men’s Health and Sports / Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Dr Sophie Donald

Dr Sophie is a General Practitioner consulting from our Practice in Walkerville, she enjoys all aspects of General Medicine.

Dr Sophie graduated medical school from James Cook University in Townsville in 2012.

She has worked and studied extensively throughout hospitals, clinics and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities in far North Queensland including Cairns, Townsville, Innisfail, Jumbun, Cooktown, Hope Vale, Wujal Wujal, Atherton Tablelands and Thursday Island. Dr Sophie moved to Adelaide in 2015 and began work at Modbury and Lyell McEwin Hospitals for 2 years before commencing general practice training. She has since worked at a number of practices across Adelaide whilst studying and growing her family, and completing her training in 2019.

She describes her time in the Torres Strait as a young trainee medical officer as amazing. She enjoyed the Island community and local hospital/clinic staff who were incredibly welcoming and wonderful, warm people to work and relax with, interesting (tropical) medicine and the most incredible scenery. She even experienced helicopter flights over the reef/islands for outreach clinic visits.

Outside of work, her daughters and 2 dogs keep her busy and she also enjoys reading novels in her spare time.

Dr Sien Tan

Dr Sien is a General Practitioner consulting from our Practice in Walkerville, his special interests include Preventative Medicine, Paediatrics, Chronic Disease Management and Skin Health.

Dr Sien Tan acquired his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Adelaide in 2010. He received his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.

Dr Tan is a proficient doctor  with a special interest in Preventative Medicine, Paediatrics, Chronic Disease Management and removal of Skin Lesions / Excisions. He skillfully performs Implanon insertion and removal as well. He carefully listens to the patient’s concerns and collaboratively develops a strategy to move forward with their treatment.

In addition to English, Sien can speak Malay fluently.

Dr Stephanie See

Dr Stephanie is a General Practitioner consulting from our GP Practice in Walkerville with a special interest in Women’s Health.

Dr Stephanie See grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Monash University.

She has previously worked at various hospitals including Austin Hospital, Monash Health, Mildura Base Hospital, Gawler Health Service, Calvary Adelaide Hospital and various GP clinics in Melbourne.

She currently also works as a mental health GP with Headspace and is involved in training future GPs as a medical educator working with The RACGP (The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners). In the past she has also conducted a research study investigating the expectations and experiences of women presenting to emergency departments with early pregnancy bleeding aiming to improve quality of care.

She loves working with people of all ages and particularly loves providing pregnancy and antenatal care, contraception counselling and implanon insertion and removals. She believes in health education, preventative medicine and empowering patients to understand their own health needs!

Outside of work, you will find her exploring local markets or making a mess trying new recipes in the kitchen!

Dr Joanne Kozman

Dr Joanne Kozman is a GP consulting from our Practice in Walkerville, her special interests include; Child and Adolescent Health, Women’s Health, Perinatal Medicine & Pregnancy Care, Mental Health and Preventative Medicine.

Dr Kozman graduated medical school from Bond University in 2009. She has gained work experience at St George and Sutherland Hospitals in NSW, and her training at GP practices across Sydney, South Coast NSW and Auckland, New Zealand.

Her career highlights include;  The Del Mar Award for General Practice (2009), Diploma of Child Health (2012),  Certificate of Family Planning and Sexual Health (2012), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (2015).

Outside of work, Dr Kozman enjoys family time with her 4 young children, cooking, painting, playing the piano, and is currently learning to play the guitar.

Originally from Malaysia, Dr Lara Zabidi graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2012. She has worked, in Singapore, Perth, regional South Australia and Adelaide, obtaining her GP fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. She completed the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health with SHINE SA in 2021.

Lara enjoys all aspects of General Practise, particularly Women’s Health and Chronic Disease. Outside of work, when not minding her active toddler, she enjoys cooking, music and reading fiction novels.

    Payment Terms

    Private Patients
    We are not a bulk-billing medical practice and require full payment of consultation fees at the time of appointment. Our facilities allow Medicare rebates to be paid directly into your bank account within 24 hours in most instances.

    A $5.50 ‘Practice Administration Levy’ will be applied to all privately billed consultations.

    Children and Concession Card Holders
    Each consultation will be charged a flat fee, including TeleHealth, results, and childhood vaccinations.

    • Gold card holders will be ‘bulk-billed’ but at times will be charged a gap
    • Children in foster care will be ‘bulk-billed’ but at times will be charged a gap
    • Concession Card Holders and children under 16 years may charged a fee at the discretion of doctors.

    Please ensure that you bring your concession card at the time of consultation and note that bulk-billing does not apply to other forms of concession cards such as the Commonwealth Seniors Card.
