Dr Deborah Markopoulos has been consulting at Pro Health Care Kensington Road since 2015.

Dr Markopoulos graduated from the University of Adelaide School of Medicine in 2001 and subsequently undertook training with the Adelaide to Outback General Practice Training Program. She has worked in both urban and rural settings and has an interest in women’s health, paediatric and adolescent health, mental health, chronic disease management and preventative medicine.

When she is not at work she enjoys travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Zwar obtained her degree from the University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In recent years she has practiced in a range of roles in Sydney and Canberra. She is pleased to have recently returned to her home town of Adelaide.

Dr Emma has always had a passion for General Practice, and enjoys providing primary care to the entire family unit. She has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents. She has been awarded a Diploma of Child Health and recently worked in youth mental health at Headspace in Sydney.

Dr Emma can provide iron infusions and conduct minor skin procedures. She is also trained in the insertion and removal of Implanon devices.

Dr Lee obtained her medical degree at Flinders University in 2013. Prior to commencing general practice training, she has worked in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital and Women’s and Children’s Hospital where she gained experience in various medical and surgical subspecialties.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in dermatology, paediatrics (completed Diploma of Child Health), and preventative health. In addition, Dr Lee performs minor office procedures (removal of foreign bodies, skin excisions/biopsy, iron infusion, ear micro-suction, steroid injections for keloid scars etc).

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Dr Lee has limited working proficiency in Korean.

Dr Adelaide Boylan enjoys the breadth of general practice and the opportunity to provide care to families.  She has  specific interests in paediatric medicine (she has a Diploma in Child Health), person centered chronic care coordination and aged and palliative care.  She is a graduate of the Sydney Medical School and the Adelaide Law School. She is passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching future health professionals.

Dr Hall graduated in 2014 from the University of Western Australia.
Originally from Adelaide, Dr Hall moved back to SA this year to be closer to family.

Dr Hall worked at numerous tertiary hospitals in Perth, with particular focus on Paediatric/Obstetric centres, before choosing General Practice as a speciality. She has experience in GP clinics both rurally (Kimberley WA) and in metro areas across Perth.

Dr Hall enjoys establishing longterm relationships with her patients and their families and seeing them through all stages of life.

She has special interests in Women’s Health, Sexual Health, Antenatal/Postnatal Care, Infertility and Paediatrics.

Outside of work she enjoys travelling (COVID permitting) and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Davis graduated from the Adelaide University in 1997 and has been consulting at our Kensington Road Medical Centre for over 9 years.

Dr Davis has particular interests in medicine that include Women’s Health (including obstetric shared care), Paediatrics (in particular child development and autism) and maintenance of overall health through disease prevention and management.

Dr Ellen Horner completed her Medical Degree at the University of Adelaide in 2010, having studied at various hospitals in Adelaide, as well as one year in Port Augusta. Through working at Lyell McEwin Hospital and Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Dr Horner gained additional qualifications in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics. She completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in the rural setting of the South East of South Australia (Naracoorte and Mount Gambier). Through this, Dr Horner developed a passion for holistic and community health care, and is currently completing a Masters of Public Health.

Although she loves the country life, Dr Horner is enjoying life back in vibrant Adelaide. As a GP Obstetrician, she is pleased to offer antenatal shared care at Pro Health Care, as well as sexual health care including Intra-Uterine Device insertion.

Dr Price graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010, and completed her General Practice Fellowship exams in 2014.

Her areas of interest are Paediatrics, Women’s Health including gynecological issues, contraception including implants and intrauterine device insertion and obstetric shared care.

After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1986, Dr Montanaro spent the first 10 years getting extensive medical experience in a variety of hospital and community roles. Dr Montanaro now splits her time between general practice and a variety of non clinical roles with a strong focus on health advocacy, health outcomes and training the next generation of doctors, including Registrars at our Norwood Medical Centre.

Dr Patricia Montanaro served as President of the AMA in South Australia and on the College Executive as well as being an examiner of students and registrars.

Dr Montanaro speaks fluent Italian and has been consulting at our Norwood Medical Centre for over 15 years.

Dr Jenny Lee is an Australian-trained and fully accredited General Practitioner. She believes it is a special privilege to serve her community as a doctor, and she strives to provide each patient with comprehensive, person-centred, and continuing medical care.

Dr Jenny Lee enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has a wide range of interests including children and adolescent health, women’s health, chronic disease management and preventative medicine.

Dr Sam Greenwood graduated from Adelaide University in 2016. Since then, Sam has gained 5 years of hospital experience working at the Royal Adelaide Hospital as well as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He also has 6 months experience at Mannum Medical Centre and 6 months experience at Ingle Farm Medical Centre.

Dr Greenwood has interests in many areas of General Practice but is particularly interested in Palliative Care, Oncology, and Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys sports such as volleyball and soccer as well as playing music. He also enjoys spending time with his young family.

Since completing his medical studies in 2016 from Flinders University, Michael worked in emergency and surgical teams at Flinders Medical Centre for 3 years. Following on from his time at Flinders Medical Centre, Michael began General Practice training with a focus on sports medicine in 2020.

Dr Michael has specific interests in acute and chronic joint/sports injuries, iron infusions, minor surgical procedures and some joint injections/aspirations.

Dr Michael is a keen golfer, enjoys spending time in the garden, cooking and DIY projects.

Dr. Gleeson completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2005, before going on to study Medicine at Flinders University, graduating in 2011. He completed several years in Paediatric training throughout South Australia before beginning work in general practice.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Gleeson enjoys cycling, tennis, and spending as much time with his young family as possible.
Dr. Gleeson has a keen interest in Paediatrics, Young adults, Men’s Health and Sports / Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Dr Rakesh Mohindra is a very experienced general practitioner with over 30 years experience in private practice.

Dr Mohindra serves on the Medical Board of South Australia and has a keen interest in teaching young and internationally trained doctors.

Dr Steven Wade joined our Norwood team of doctors in 2013 after receiving his fellowship in General Practice in 2012.

Dr Wade enjoys tennis and goes to the gym regularly and promotes a healthy lifestyle. He has a particular interest in diabetes and cardiovascular health but can provide comprehensive care to all patients.

Dr Ashleigh Nolan graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011. She undertook an internship at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and had Rural General Practice training in Loxton and Kapunda. Prior returning to Adelaide and starting at Pro Health Care Norwood in 2019 she worked in Darwin for a year.

Dr Ashleigh received her Fellowship of the RACGP in 2015 and Diploma in Child Health.

Her special areas of interest include, Women’s Health and Child Health. She is trained to perform insertion and removal of Women’s Health Contraceptive devices.

Dr Helena Spencer graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1984. She worked for 32 years in her own General Practice at Henley Beach. Prior to working at Henley Beach she had spent a few years at Ingle Farm and North Haven.

She completed her Hospital training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Dr Spencer held a board position for more than 10 years with the Western Division of General Practice that supported local general practice.

Dr Spencer is interested in all areas of general practice with continuity of care, including chronic disease management, and women’s health. She is certified for Implanon insertion and removal, IUD removal and minor skin removals.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, walking her dog, yoga, walking basketball and netball and catching up with family and friends.

Dr Natalie undertook her medical training in England and graduated in 2009.

Dr Natalie trained in the UK and worked in a range of medical and surgical specialities for two years post graduation and before moving to Australia. She has worked in Adelaide at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Emergency Medicine for a number of years as an Emergency trainee before transferring to General Practice training in 2016.

Dr Chalder enjoys the wide variety that General Practice offers. She especially likes the continuity of care in General Practice and the therapeutic relationships she makes with patients.

Dr Chalder is also Certified in Implanon Insertions and can provide Iron Infusions.

Dr Jamie completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree before attaining his medical degree from the Flinders University in 2019.

Dr Jamie has undertaken clinical placements at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he enjoyed a broad range of medical experience which spurred him to pursuing a career in General Practice.

Dr Jamie continues to hold an interest in Musculo-Skeletal Medicine, Men’s Health and Procedural Medicine which includes skin cancer diagnoses and excisions.

Outside of medicine, Dr Jamie loves spending time with his young family and watching sport, particularly AFL.
