At Pro Health Care, education is part of who we are. It doesn’t end after university or registrar training – it continues every day in the clinic, the lunchroom, and the community. Practitioners see learning as an ongoing journey that strengthens not only their knowledge but also their confidence, teamwork, and patient care.
It’s common for a GP registrar and supervisor to discuss complex cases between appointments, or allied health professionals guiding students through practical scenarios. Clinical meetings are filled with questions, reflections, and shared insights that spark new ways of thinking. This is what makes Pro Health Care special: a team with a genuine passion for quality care that learns together to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
To strengthen our culture of learning, Pro Health Care has partnered with eMedici, a CPD-accredited Australian medical education organisation, operating since the 1990s and trusted by more than 50,000 students and doctors internationally. eMedici’s resources are written and reviewed by Australian clinicians and educators, ensuring alignment with local practice and clinical guidelines. It’s also home-grown right here in Adelaide, South Australia, run by Adelaide-trained doctors, which makes this partnership feel especially meaningful. We’re proud to support an initiative that champions education so close to home!
Through this partnership, Pro Health Care provides practitioners with access to eMedici’s educational resources to support various stages of education and CPD.
- GP registrars preparing for their fellowship exams can use eMedici’s GP AKT/KFP resource, which contains MCQ and KFP practice questions, mock exams, and detailed explanations that reinforce applied clinical reasoning.
- GPs undertaking further training in women’s health can use the CWH/PTP resource, which focuses on clinical scenarios relevant to the Certificate of Women’s Health.
- Any staff wanting to revise foundational sciences underpinning clinical practice have access to eMedici’s Basic Science resource, which includes content across anatomy, physiology, and other sciences.
- Pro Health Care clinical educators and supervisors can also register for eMedici’s Educators Access Program, which provides access to resources for direct integration into teaching and supervision activities in both university and clinic settings.
These resources build on the real-world experiences of the Pro Health Care team. They help practitioners to keep learning, stay reflective, and continue growing in their practice. Most importantly, they strengthen the care we provide to patients and community every day.
