Robert Holt is a Clinical Psychologist with interests in Psychological Trauma and integrating recent Psychophysiology and Applied Neuroscience mind-body advances in treatment. Has has over 20 years experience in Psychological Practice and can assist clients in managing a broad range of issues. He has completed advanced training in the major evidence-based practices and draws upon an extensive array of Psychotherapeutic approaches.
Robert holds a Biofeedback Certification International Alliance Board Certification in Neurotherapy and Heart Rate Variability and is currently a Quantitative EEG Board Diplomate candidate.
He has professional society memberships with the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists, International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, International Society of Hypnosis, American Psychosomatic Society and Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia.
Rebecca is a General Psychologist in Adelaide, consulting at our Norwood Clinic along Kensington Road with an interest in self-esteem issues, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders and trauma therapy.
Rebecca Richardson holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science degree from Flinders University, Adelaide, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (First Class) from Deakin University, Melbourne. She is registered as a General Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners’ Registration Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Rebecca has a special focus on self-esteem issues, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders and trauma therapy.
Rebecca endeavours to create a warm, relaxed and welcoming environment for her clients, which allows them to explore their challenges in a compassionate and uplifting atmosphere. She works together with her clients to help them to understand their struggles without judgement. Drawing upon their strengths, she endeavours to equip and empower her clients to cope more effectively with life’s challenges and to create lasting positive change in their lives.
Rebecca has conducted research in the area of emotional intelligence, coping and academic performance in adolescents. She has also conducted research on the challenges and impacts of family structure and parenting styles on families.
Rebecca uses individualised evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance-based behaviour therapy (ABBT) and Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Rebecca is skilled at administering and assessing a wide variety of psychological tests, including but not limited to: Objective tests, such as Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K-10), and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS).

Outside of work Rebecca likes to spend time with her two children and four animals, two black Labradors and two cats. Rebecca previously worked as a surgical veterinarian nurse and still holds a passion for all animals.
