Dr Spiro Doukakis is a Greek Speaking General Practitioner working at our Dover Gardens Medical Centre with an interest in Paediatrics, Family Medicine and Acute Care.
Dr Spiro Doukakis is a Greek Speaking GP who consults at our Dover Gardens Family Practice. He has an interest in Paediatrics, Family Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine. He has been in general practice for over 25 years.
Spiro undertook his medical training at The University of Adelaide graduating in 1988. He completed his RACGP fellowship in 1997.
Spiro has worked in many GP locations over the years including Hazel Grove Medical Centre from 1992 to 1997 and various gpHealth Clinics from 2005 to 2018. From 1995 to 2014 he also co-managed and worked as an urgent care after hours GP with gp Solutions, now 13SICK. He continues to be involved with 13SICK as a clinical adviser in the education of doctors.
He started working at Pro Health Care in 2019. Spiro has experience in all aspects of general practice.
Outside of medicine, Spiro enjoys keeping fit, watching sports and travelling.
Dr Diem Dang is a Vietnamese speaking, Adelaide trained GP with special interests in Women's Health and Children's Medicine. Dr Dang has been consulting at our Sturt Road Family Practice for over 12 years.
Dr Diem Dang has been consulting at our Sturt Road Family Clinic since 2006. She completed her medical training at the Flinders University and also worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital as well as in the Adelaide Hills, Mannum and Strathalbyn Private GP Clinics.
Dr Dang has special interests in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Management and Preventative Health. She is accredited to provide ante-natal shared care and is able to perform minor skin procedures and Implanon insertion / removal.
Dr Diem Dang is fluent in Vietnamese.
Dr Katina Koukourou is an Adelaide based General Practitioner consulting in our Dover Gardens Family Practice with special interests in Women's Health, Skin Cancer, Cosmetic and Musculo-skeletal Medicine.
Dr Katina Koukourou, BMBS, FRACGP, completed her medical degree at The Flinders University of South Australia in December 1998. She completed her Internship at the Royal Adelaide hospital undertaking rotations in her area of interest being Muscluoskeletal Medicine , Orthopaedics, and Spinal Surgery.
She then worked at the Flinders Medical Centre, in areas of obstetrics, paediatrics and emergency medicine.
Following her hospital years she moved to Margaret River, Western Australia where she completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Katina practiced as a Rural GP for 7 years before leaving to become the founder of her own medical practice, Lifestyle Medical, practicing mainly in cosmetic medicine, skin cancer medicine, women’s health, lifestyle and preventative medicine. In Margaret River she has also been working as an emergency doctor at the rural hospital for 19 years due to her interest in acute care medicine.
Dr Katina moved back to Adelaide in 2016 and has been working as a GP as well as in cosmetic medicine and as an emergency doctor at Ashford Hospital SA.
Dr Katina enjoys keeping fit, surfing , running , the outdoor lifestyle, and motivating others to maintain their best health and version of themselves.
Dr Michelle Fang is a Mandarin Speaking Adelaide General Practitioner consulting from the Pro Health Care Dover Gardens Family Practice, with special interests in Women's Health, Skin Cancer Medicine and Chronic Disease Management.
Before Dr Fang became a medical doctor, she worked as a research scientist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney for a few years. She has since lived and worked in both rural and metropolitan areas of New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia at various stages of her medical training.
Michelle graduated from the University of Notre Dame Sydney, following which she worked as a resident medical oﬃcer within the public hospital system in Western Australia and completed her GP training in rural South Australia.
After obtaining fellowship through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, Dr Fang completed a Diploma of Child Health, had additional training in skin cancer and registered as a S100 prescriber for the treatment of hepatitis B.
Michelle enjoys all aspects of patient care in general practice and has special interests in paediatrics, women’s health, skin cancer medicine and chronic disease management. She speaks ﬂuent Mandarin and is learning Danish.
Michelle’s interests outside medicine include classical music, yoga and cooking.
