Covid-19 Management Plan – Hope Valley

Dear Valued Patient,

Pro Health Care Hope Valley remains extremely committed to providing all patients with on-going medical care. In line with the opening of SA state borders and SA health guidelines, we are making some changes commencing November 23rd.

All appointments will be facilitated as best as possible to minimise risk and make sure we are all kept safe and protected.

Any patients with respiratory symptoms such as a cough, fever, nasal congestion, loss of smell, sore throat, ear issues, headache, feeling fatigued or lethargic, or who have travelled  to an exposure site or have had contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, will be offered  a telehealth consult ONLY (gaps may apply). These patients must have a negative PCR nasal swab within 48 hrs of a face-to-face appointment.

Patients who have not received their COVID vaccinations will be offered a telehealth consult and if you need to be seen face to face, your GP will discuss the options with you during this phone call.

Patients who have received two doses of the vaccine and children under 12 (who must be accompanied by a vaccinated caregiver) with none of the above respiratory symptoms will be seen in a standard face to face consult.

Recent travellers from interstate or overseas (within the last two weeks): These patients must provide proof of a negative PCR nasal swab within 48 hours of a face-to-face appointment. Rapid test kit results will not be accepted

Please note, masks must be worn in the surgery at all times – Exemptions do not apply.

Pro Health Care Hope Valley have implemented these changes to mitigate the risk of exposure to Covid-19 within our clinic and in order to keep everyone safe.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support during these very challenging times. Your co-operation is very much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Pro Health Care Hope Valley
