Covid-19 Management Plan – Henley Beach

Dear Valued Patient,

In line with the opening of SA State borders, under SA Health guidelines, we are making changes to our clinic policy, commencing November 23rd, 2021.

All patients with respiratory symptoms (Fever, Cough, Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Headache, Shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste, Sinus pain) will be offered telehealth in the first instance. These patients must have a negative PCR nasal swab within 48 hrs of a face-to-face appointment.

Recent travellers from interstate or overseas (within the last two weeks): These patients must provide proof of a negative PCR nasal swab within 48 hours of a face-to-face appointment. Rapid test kit results will not be accepted

Unvaccinated patients will be offered telehealth only for all consultations, gaps will apply *vaccination clinics exempt. Your doctor will advise of your options if  Face-to-Face consultation will be required.

Vaccinated patients and children <12 (must be accompanied by a vaccinated caregiver) will be seen as usual for face to face appointments.

Please note masks must be worn in the surgery at all times.

If required, telehealth may be via telephone or video consult. Medicare currently only approves a rebate for short consultations by telephone. Longer consultations can be arranged through video link up.

Pro Health Care Henley Beach has a duty of care to all Staff and Patients by ensuring as much care is taken with Covid-19 exposure. The latest changes to our policy are in place to mitigate Covid-19 risk and to protect our staff, patients and the wider community.

Kind regards,

Pro Health Care Henley Beach
