What is Manipulative Physiotherapy?
Manipulative Physiotherapy is the practice of joint and muscular treatment that focuses on a hands-on and safe approach to management.
Manipulative Physiotherapy involves a thorough assessment in order to identify the underlying problem. By identifying the specific structural anomaly, the likelihood of a successful outcome from the appropriate treatment is dramatically increased.
Manipulative Physiotherapy may some-times involve high velocity thrusts to manipulate joints that are identified as being stiff and resistant to movement. This will often result in a cracking sensation that is essentially the release of bubbles that have formed within the synovial fluid of the joint.
